Bob Beargie
Senior Wealth Advisor
“Serving my clients is an honor and a privilege. It is my most sincere goal to exceed their expectations, to earn their trust and confidence, and to provide them with exceptional service and the utmost care, compassion, and professionalism.”
— Bob Beargie
Bob Beargie is passionate about working with clients to help them define their needs and accomplish their long-term goals. Bob has served as a fiduciary to families and individuals through the high inflation and interest rate environments of the 80’s and 90’s, the technology bubble of the early 2000’s, the financial crisis and real estate bust of 2008, and, most recently, through the global pandemic of 2020 and its enduring aftermath. Through prudent one-on-one planning, Bob helps clients prepare for the future they desire while encouraging them to enjoy their journey.
Bob grew up in Lexington, Kentucky with the selfless support of parents who instilled in him and his four siblings strong values, work ethic, and an appreciation for education. Bob attended the University of Kentucky and St. Thomas More University, earning degrees in both Economics and Business Administration. In 1988, Bob earned his law degree from the University of Louisville and spent his early career practicing law in the areas of estate planning, wills, and trusts. He went on to earn his MBA from the University of Miami in Oxford, Ohio and moved to Cleveland to continue his career in the trust and wealth management industry. In 1998, Bob and his growing family of seven decided to trade the snow of the Midwest for the sunshine of the Gulf Coast.
During his tenure as a fiduciary, Bob worked for large, reputable firms such as SunTrust Bank, Bank of Montreal’s Harris Trust Company, Synovus Trust Company, and Raymond James Investments. With over 30 years of wealth management experience and an extensive background in law, taxation, and retirement and estate planning, Bob brings tremendous value and a vast perspective to those he serves.
Bob puts his clients first and considers his work not only a passion, but a tremendous responsibility that he doesn’t take lightly. Early on in his career, Bob coined the phrase, “It’s not about what you make, it’s about what you get to keep and pass on to the folks you love and the causes you believe in.”
Outside of the office, Bob and his wife, Connie, enjoy exploring the historic, quaint towns along the Gulf Coast, bike rides through downtown Pensacola, and playing Pickleball at the YMCA. When they’re not traveling up and down the East and West coasts visiting their seven children and three grandchildren, they love getting away for a weekend in New Orleans or staying at the Battle House Hotel in Mobile.
