Katie joined Alphastar Wealth Management Emerald Coast in 2022 as an Executive Wealth Planner. She is passionate about educating and providing tailored investment and financial planning solutions to help clients meet their long-term goals.
Katie has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Colorado and a Bachelor of Accounting from Loyola University in New Orleans. She spent her early career working for large law and accounting firms and went on to work for a Registered Investment Advisor in New Orleans, for Northwestern Mutual as a Financial Planner, and most recently, for Fidelity Investments in Denver as an Equity Trader and then as a Wealth Transition Specialist. Through these years of dynamic experience and specialized work, Katie learned the value of comprehensive retirement and estate planning.
While at Loyola University, Katie played on the varsity tennis team and spent a year studying abroad at Thammassat University in Bangkok, Thailand.
Katie holds numerous FINRA Securities Licenses, including the Series 7, as well as Insurance Licenses for Life, Long-term Care, and Annuities.
Katie is insightful and genuine and believes in the value of building meaningful and personal relationships. She is thrilled to join her dad here at Alphastar to continue learning from his wealth of knowledge and experience. She brings a fresh perspective and enthusiasm to the firm, furthering our goal of helping each client define and create their definition of success.
Katie is happy to be back in her hometown of Pensacola, establishing roots close to her family and lifelong friends. When she’s not working, she spends most of her time with her boyfriend, David, and their big Saint Bernard named Boone. She enjoys local festivals and all the activities the Gulf Coast has to offer. She loves traveling, playing tennis, and trying her hand at golf! Coming from a large, blended family of nine, Katie has four smart, well-rounded sisters and two adventurous brothers. Needless to say, their family gatherings never lack good conversation and entertainment!
